Passing time until our block fabrics arrive so I'm making a simple HST quilt for a neighbor.. the instructions call for tube sewing two WOF strips and cutting the HST blocks from the seams, which I've never done before, and I've quickly discovered it wastes a ton of fabric
I'm changing my strategy and will have 1/3 of the fabric (great blender fabrics too!) left over for making Boom blocks
Seriously makes me wonder about those who are writing these patterns
