Lucky you. I planted a bunch of thornless blackberry bushes for my sister as she loves them. Got some really nice berries off them too but found they took so much room and where I planted them just wasn't feasible so when my sister moved to a larger lot I dug them up and planted up at her place. Now she can take care of them. I had planted raspberries in my raised beds too and they have pretty much taken over. I went ahead and planted 4 additional white/cream raspberry bushes this year in place of the blackberries. The red seem to take over as the white ones do not. Right now my strawberries are producing so I'm taking time out everyday to pick them, sometimes twice a day. The plants are so loaded that the berries hide under the leaves so not many get taken by the birds. Enjoy your blackberries.
