I have a digital camera and I drag my pictures from there to this site:

and download from there, using their preset reductions I've never had a file too big since I started using them.
I have it set up so that when I minimize my internet screen (which due to my vision issues is usually full sized) to half sized, that my file explorer window has a short cut that I can see and use to drag the picture which has also been default sized to work easily.
They don't do a lot, but it is easy and it doesn't set off my tightly security set-up protections.
Edit: The thing that actually took me the longest to figure out is that you have to resize that window so it is long and horizontal. The actual button you need is way to the right, the current window defaults to the old vertical set-up.
