We cooked ours and cooked it in the crock pot this year. Cooked it on high for about 5 hrs. Then on low a couple of hrs. Nothing fancy just some water and the packet it came with. It came apart in shreds was really good. Made fried cabbage as no one this year wanted potatoes. Made it today for family gathering as we all work during 5he week. And also some rice. Grandkids love rice so we also had some of that with some broccoli.
