Our guild met on Monday at our church meeting space for the first time since February. Hooray! We met in the gym so we were safely seated far apart. The meeting was just about to start when heavy rain and lightening began to cause the lights to flicker. ....and you guessed it..our lights went out!
The gym had skylights so we weren't in total darkness.
The President used her smart phone light as a flashlight so she could read her notes and conduct the business portion of the meeting. Each program chair stood and held a phone light to give their committee report. Next came Sew & Tell. Two members stood on either side of the quilt being shown and shined their cell phone flashlights onto the quilt.
