Welcome from South Louisiana. I was lucky and found a 1995 Nolting, all metal, no computerized long arm when I wanted one. My husband is the genius that keeps it in running order. I would insist on the person selling the machine to get it serviced and check for any updates or computer boards, if it has them, that might be needed. It can get very expensive fixing a computerized machine
