MJP, I like the it both ways and love the contrast. I finally got a design wall. Hubbie got 2 pieces of thick foam boards. I covered and the plan was to just lay them against the wall. Then hubbie came in the room and ask if I measured the ceiling height. I said, "No, the ceiling is 8 foot and the boards are 8 foot". He smiled. My ceiling is not 8 foot. Thus began the unwrapping and cutting of 4 inches and rewrapping. He still smiled but I have my wall!! And I LOVE your elf shoes!

Macybaby, I sew in my aunts little house at the bottom of our driveway. It was built in 1963 by my grandparents and with her poor health had really gone down hill. We fixed the ceils, replaced the all the floor, sheetrock, plumbing, electrical, insulation, lights, roof, windows, siding and all appliances. Oh and we added central heat/air. This is now my sewing house! I will pray for your renovation.
