sew...I used fabrics that were either CW, or...CW type fabrics. I just preferred to use a dark background rather than the lighter like the original.

Hi guys! I'm finished with all the tris and kites and now am working on the plain tris. You guessed it! Went back to my original plan to stay as close to the original DJ as possible. My DDH kept coming up with more and more ideas for me so I thought about it and decided to keep it the way I started to. There are sure alot of finishing touches on this puppy!!!Got 54 more plain Janes and then the assembly will start. I need to go back and read what you guys did again! Still alot of hand sewing to do!!!!!!!!

So nice to see the new girls starting a Jane! They will learn so much and be so so proud!!

Jan...so you aren't doing the flowers? Sorry, I don't remember the original plan.

You go Rach....get back to that baby! I've always thought that your fabrics are going to make a gorgeous Jane!

Isn't it wonderful that we will have a continuous thread of starts to keep this going & going. They call us "Janiacs" - I guess because we become so attached to these little beauties and they become all-consuming to us that we just keep wanting to make more. Remember when we were all discussing making a second one???

My original plan was to do just as close to the DJ as possible. My DH wanted me to do the flowers and then he wanted appliqued flowers and fruit out of the left over fabs and he was making me crazy, crazier than I already am!!! LOL!! So I told him after much thought I wanted to stay with the original plan! It's settled!!

Rachel, I love your fabs and always have! It will be fun to see you do some more of them!!

Oh...ok, so diagonal quilting lines on the plain tweeners....I get it. Sometimes less really is more!

So glad that you are getting the call. Sometimes you just have to have that break from Jane. Glad you are going to start again Rachel.

Yes Jan, there seems to be a never ending lot of sewing on this baby, however its going to be so worth it.

I am continueing with my applique. Ha ha, I fussy cut all the flowers out, had several lots of visitors so I just had to tidy up, now I have lost them and canīt find them, what a bummer
