you can always just go at your pace. so maybe by the end you'll have the top finished whiles others have done the quilting and binding.

it doesn't really matter to keep up - its just a way to have some fun and share the experience with others.

a few do the 1-2 a week schedule but thats just too long. i have a friend that is 8 years into her jane and she still isn't anywhere near complete.

I love how hers looks... but I'm afraid trying to keep to her color pattern is just one more complication that I would easily mess up. LOL!! I'm doing the civil war repro fabric... so mine will either be totally random and scrappy OR I'll do her trip around the world scheme.

What are you ladies going to do?
i'm not doing the around the world placement i'm doing diagonal stripes - which i think is even harder to keep track of then around the world.

here's a pic of what it will look like when its done

So I guess I'm going to have to get it for $60 plus s/h, but not today. Darnit!
about every quarter or so joann's online puts the dear jane software on sale.

That's exactly what I'm planning to do, as soon as I confirm that I can run the software successfully on my computer!

Oh! I misunderstood and thought we were doing just one block a week. Okay, now this changes things and I think I'll only do one quilt instead of two. I've got too many other projects going and deadlines to meet to do 6-8 blocks a week.

Klue, that is gorgeous!!! I love your color placement and once I get the software in I imagine I'm going to spend hours and hours playing with color design. I can't wait!

Softexpressions has it for 44 dollars and some change (can't remember) I looked on ebay and softexpressions is cheaper than the bids on ebay at least today.

I'm going to be using all Fossil Fern fabrics. I'm going to try to do the Trip Around the World pattern.

Either way you do yours, I'm sure it's going to look GREAT!!!
