We are the coolest bunch ever!! :-)

It's a huge thrill knowing that we'll all be working at the same time on the same project. It must be some kind of record, surely. ;-)

i'm just so excited about it all - how great is it going to be when everyone starts posting their blocks and finished janes.

just imagine 66 completed janes to drool over in one location.

well there is that fabric give away incentive - you've got to post all your pics to be in it.

i'll be hand dyeing fabric next week and i'm going to paint a center medallion to match them.

i'm thinking about doing a take on the Pennsylvania Dutch Hexagon patterns.

I've googled and can't find anything... can you post a link? I haven't seen Pennsylvania Dutch Hexagons.

here's a link to some history and a few pics and what they represent.

http://www.amishnews.com/hexsigns.htm

i'll just be doing some kind of play on this idea and i'll use similar colors plus i'll dye some FQs to match.
