You have all motivated me to share a picture of all of my 2012 BOM blocks with everyone!! I haven't sewn them together yet, but here is my picture of all of my blocks put together. You might notice that I am hand stitching all around the turkeys in my November block. I am hoping to get it finished soon. Enjoy!!

Now that I am looking at my pictures, I see that you can hardly notice the hand stitching around my November block. Sorry about that!! I am using black thread to blanket stitch around the turkey toward the bottom. When I get it finished, I will share a close up shot then.

I am loving how everyone's Dec. block and finished quilts look! Everyone has done such a great job! I am torn between sewing my blocks together or quilting and binding each block separately. I have a spot on my wall that is about 20" square as you go up my stairs where I have been wanting something seasonal to hang. With these blocks, I could change them on a monthly basis. Decisions, decisions.... I like both ideas...

I think doing them individually is a wonderful way to use these blocks. Maybe I'll do that with my other set.

    My 2012 Blocks Laid Out

Okay here is a photo I made from EQ7 after I got my block into it. I've been playing with sashing, borders..etc. Just can't decide, but here is my basic layout.

Any suggestions anyone? I have Jean working on it as she has EQ7 also...

    Cajun

    Love the second one, Cajun.

I pooped out in November, but I finished my turkey in mid-December (just haven't posted a picture yet). I figure I still have tomorrow to come in under the wire with December. Hopefully, I will get it done. Dealing with a non-working furnace

I got my blocks stitched together. In reality, they are brighter, the white whiter than this picture shows.

I posted in pictures but here is my finished top. I did substitute for a few months. I love the jar block but I made my block with batiks and the jar didn't work with my fabrics. I also did a fast block for December. Thanks to sulfa bug for running the BOM and to everyone who contributed the blocks.

The quilt tops are looking good!
Just finishing my last Dec block (we've had grandkids for the last 2 weeks so sewing time is very limited)
SulaBug, Thanks for your hard work in organizing the year of fun. I'm excited for the 2013 BOM!

I still need to finish Decembers block also. I like the way you put your top together with those wonderful center blocks.

Thank you SulaBug! I figured out how I want my blocks all together but didn't get to that yet. It's somewhere on my list but not for the next week. Besides I have to find the right fabric to do so and I didn't have the time to shop my stash. My LQS is having a sale next week so I might go there and have a look.

Yes SulaBug, it sure was a lot of fun. I like the concept of members picking a block each month. Makes such a different quilt, I loved it!
Don't get too excited, a sale here means normal prices where you are. Normally I order my fabrics in the US but I thought with shippingcosts added I can go to the sale of the LQS as well. The sale fabric is $ 8.50/yard so not that cheap after all. But normally we pay $ 19.00 and up per yard.

Here's the quilttop. It looks a bit weird but it doesn't fit the designwall. Still have to add borders but have to think about what fabric to use.
I'm going to call this one The Waiting Game. I made the chainblocks and put it all together while waiting for news about my DDIL's pregnancy. She's been admitted to hospital yesterday, almost 26 weeks pregnant with twins. I made so many mistakes while making the chainblocks and the extra block. According to Quilter's Cache the extra block I made was the easiest one but I managed to do it wrong Name: Finished top (502 x 504).jpg
