I also, decided to do this in a girly color as sometimes I stand a better chance of umm, not loosing it shall we say. I am happy with the results, although not like the others. That is me in a nutshell.
Deedum.............WOW, your Gift Bag Pillowcase turned out wonderful & I especially love how you changed it, a little bit, to fit your needs. That's part of what's so wonderful about making these projects, we can all make little changes to fit our own needs. If you don't mind, I would like to use your idea to make one for my Mother. She is always losing her Kleenex in bed & this would be perfect for her. I know she'll love it. Thank you for sharing.

sulabug, have you seen the pocket pillowcase on www.justanotherhangup.blogspot.com ? I made quite a few of those for gifts this year, thought I had pictures of them but can't find any. It is another cute and easy case. I embroidered on the pocket and put books in them for 12 grandkids.
    I don't know how to do that.....YET!

Sulabug your cases are so pretty. I love blue and yellow together. One of these days I need to make something with those colors. I like the blocks you put on the ends. Mary

Finished my Quilt Pillowcase today. I made it to match a quilt that I had made several years ago so if I ever give it away it has a case to put it in. A quick, nice project of the month. Thanks SulaBug.

OMGoodness gramquilter2, your Gift Bag Pillowcase turned out so lovely & I am thrilled that you are using it to put a matching quit in. Of all of the idea's, I have to say that I am most pleased with the matching quilt idea. Although I know that my granddaughter will use her's for an overnight bag, but that's okay too!! Keep the pictures coming everyone as it is so exciting getting to see the next one made.

Love this case. The floral ruffle matching the body of the case...that really appeals to me. Thanks for sharing.

Didn't think I'd have time to do this month, but DH is taking a baby quilt to Germany in April so decided this would make the perfect wrapping, in case he has to open it at immigration. Name: feb 2014 project001 (Small).JPG

What a wonderful Gift Bag Pillowcase!! It will make a perfect gift bag for your DH to take with him to Germany & I love the idea of the possibility that it might have to be looked at too as this way it would be so easy to do so. GOOD THINKING there!! Your fabric's look so pretty together & you have done a wonderful job making this project for February. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us!!

Size: 321.7 KBHere's my February project. I only made the pillowcase from a pattern I've used before. This is for the niece we saw in CA & I didn't think she'd want the bag thingie.

I am sad to say I did not get to my pillowcase in February, but it should happen in March. Will there be a new project this month?
