OK, time for a silly question, when joining the various pieces of the block, that is after you have removed the paper, correct? Thanks!

I leave my paper on until I am all done, not sure if that is the correct way but it keeps my block from stretching out of shape.

So do I. Having the paper on gives you your 1/4" sewing line too.

Here is my pic of the Jan 2011 BOM. This is my first attempt on paper piecing and I found it fascinating and hard to put down till I was finished. I had read on thread of varied size of church windows but didn't "get it" till putting together than I made correction. Will know better next time to compare paper templates. Being from New England and it is winter I decided that some Holly Bushes needed to be planted under the windows. I love all the self expressions from everyone as they pick their own fabrics and interpretations. Can't wait to do next one. Thanks

Mine did that too. I printed it at 111% to make it an inch.
Thanks for the information.......I used it for the first template, the other 2 were ok.

Here's my church. I love the plaids even though they got a little wonky above the windows. I can't wait for the next one!
