I love your fabrics. Great layout.

This was a fun block. I wish I would have had more cream-colored squares. I like the sample block. Maybe in a year from now I will have accumulated more in my stash. I just love collecting hunks of fabric.

I have a question about my July block. While I was pressing it, some of the red from the fabric smudged on the white. Does anyone have any idea how I might clean it without washing the entire thing? I haven't found the color-catch stuff yet, but am still looking. Name: July quilt BOM.jpg

Here's mine. I don't live in the US so mine is not RBW. I thought of flowers and bright fabric so that's what I did!

Great looking block! I had to come up with something different too. I'm anxious to see what you come up with for your purples.

The way I'll make them different, is that I'm going to use this as the signature block. So I'll embroidry their names, and the date and maybe a couple little embroidered fireworks in the white area. Now I'll just wait until I set up my embroidery part of my machine. Which might be a while yet. Next month I'll be on vacation the first two weeks of Aug, so will have to do those blocks later in the month, but I don't want to miss a month.
Great looking block...& what a great idea for the granddaughter's quilt!!!

Here's mine...it is now 16" with the border. My June block dictated that now they all need to be that size...all will just get the white borders. Love all the ones I commented on and the ones I haven't...

Here is my July block. Due to time constraints this month, I cheated and simplified it!

I want to say Thank You to everyone who has made & posted their block's for July, so far. Each & everyone of these blocks are beautiful & made to perfection. I appreciate all of your enthusiasm & participation in the BOM projects. It takes all of us to make these work like a well oiled machine!! A sewing machine, that is!! Keep up the wonderful work.

On another note, I wanted to let you know that I am going on vacation & will be gone from the board until the 22nd of this month. I have been invited to attend a stitching retreat with six other gals & I am so excited that I am able to go. There will be lots of stitching, chatting, sharing, eating, more eating & good ole fun. Take care & have a good week. I will check in on everyone, after I get back home. Have fun!!
