    1 July 2012 BOM pictures.

    Hello Again,

I will start by posting my picture of the Glory in Scarps block, for the month of July. I hope that you are looking forward to getting started on your blocks & will share pictures of them, with all of us, when you have the block made. This block was so much fun to make, so get your machines reved up & start picking out the fabric's you want to use in your block!! I can't wait to start seeing your finished picture's. Have fun!!

Thank you Judy & yes, I used that red fabric because it looked like "The Rocket's Red Glare". I thought it was perfect for this block.

Thank you Jenniky too, for the nice compliments on our blocks for July. It was really a nice block to make & fun too. I hope everyone is having fun getting ready to put their's together!!

Here is my block for the "red" line, but I think for my other theme I'll have to come up with something else. Just can't see the flag in purples and greens.

Never regret. If it's good, it's wonderful. If it's bad, it's experience.

bibliostone............Awesome July 2012 BOM block. Your color's all go together so well & it looks very striking!!
I agree with you about your second block not being appropriate with the color's of purple & green. But I just know you will come up with something just as wonderful. We can hardly wait to see how it turn's out too!!

For your second quilt, some fireworks in purple and green might work! Just a thought...

Sulabug: Thanks for the kind words! I was looking for something to do before church...and decided I could finish this block in the hour or so that I had. I guess I have Adult ADD...I just can't set and do nothing! So now I got a whole month to wait for the next block! lol

Took awhile to find a star print that would go with my batiks. Found a mottled one that I think works well.

Tweety..................it's just perfect!! Your batik's look awesome together & your star fabric just pulls your block together in the right way. I also had a hard time finding a star fabric & had to go buy a quarter of a yard, just to have that small piece!! Your work is very nice. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

Urgodschild, Bibliostone, Tweety and Oksewnsew you guys are speedy Fabulous blocks as usual. Im still in the fabric selection mode. Im looking for that twist to make the block mine. LOL I am really looking at the scrappy aspect of this block. Im thinking that is the key to my personalizing it. The field of stars fabric is my stump-er though. So the search is still on.
    Have an awesome day!
