Emma, I love your quilt. I like the scrappy look and how it turned out. The quilts on this mystery train ride turned out beautiful. The monochromatic blocks take my eye, too. Judy does a really good job on these mysteries. I would have loved to do this one, but I still have a couple of other rides to finish and a challenge quilt. Plus it is corn planting season here in northern Iowa. I am the "gofer" and that can keep me busy. I always have to take the 3 fur babies with me.

Love yours, Emma!! So colorful and so big!!
Here's mine. Still needs to be quilted. Baby will be born tomorrow so I'd better get on it! I plan to use white minky on the back and wrap it around to the front for the binding.

This pattern has brought out some great tablerunners but I think it really shines when it's a full size quilt like Emma's and Bluebonnets. Beautiful, ladies. Great job, Judy!

Sorry I fell off the train on this trip but it will get done someday.....unless another train comes along in the meantime and I go somewhere else.

I agree with whitepine, the larger size quilts are beautiful with the secondary pattern coming out. Wish I had more time to work on mine but I only had time for a table runner. Oh well, one more Christmas present finished. One less thing to do last minute. Still needs to be quilted though.

I love all the quilts and runners. I wasn't able to do this ride but have all the info and will do it in the future. I have done several other train mysteries and I have a question about all the scrappy ones. What color thread is everyone using to quilt them? I hate that clear fishing line thread and don't have a clue as to what to use. Light thread on dark fabric? Dark thread on light fabric? Help! I have enough UFOs. I will be quilting on DSM. Thanks in advance.
