Great mystery, Judy. I'm off to finish cutting and then draw lines (384 of them--Yikes!).

What a lovely block! I think I can honestly say there's nothing I want to change lol, which if you've seen my previous history, is a big compliment to this pattern!!!!!!!!

Thank you Judy

They are beautiful blocks. However I think the next ones are a tad to hard for me. I will figure out something to do with what I have. I have a ton of the little blocks of 4 left I made way to many. I am not good at following instructions. Unless they are for a first grader lOL

Thank you Judy, I have enjoyed the ride and experience. I do need to know what you mean by snowballing? other than that I think I can do this block with my best friend seam ripper.

I sat out this mystery thinking I have far too many projects going-some are just started, half way completed or in tops ready to be hand quilted.
Judy, this is beautiful and I have to make one!!! Yeah---I'm digging in my stash to see what I can come up with. Thanks for sharing your time and your talent.

Tomara: I am new at this too...if you look back to pg. 46, Judy's first picture shows the 2" squares with a line drawn. You place this sq. on top of the rectangle and sew maybe one or two threads from the line so when pressed it works better than following exactly on the line, then repeat for the dark 2" sq. the same way at the other end of the rectangle. Then repeat going in the other direction for the other 24 pieces (mirror image). Hope it is clear looking at the pictures is how I muddle through.

The V blocks aren't really hard, but if you find them intimidating just make them as 4 2 inch half square triangles that would make a 3.5 inch square, it would just add a seam.
