Angelia, now that you've seen the pattern are you still going ahead with a large quilt?

That's my plan--as soon as I get a chance. Thanks for the pattern.

I think it will make a beautiful quilt. How large do you plan to make it? I'm considering making three of each block. I think I'll alternate them, setting them 2 x 3, and then adding borders. I still haven't finished mine because I can't decide what I want to do with it. So far I just changed the background fabric to a pastel yellow, and sewed the blocks directly together. Here is a pix of my "butt ugly" block before I changed the background, and the three that I just sewed together. I'll probably make a little table topper out of the single block. Doesn't look so bad alone but when several are laid together it is so bright it hurts your eyes! Received this beautiful yellow, black and white Mum fabric like Karen's (Chasezzz) in the mail yesterday. I think its going to be the one for my lap quilt. Anyway, here's what I made so far..

I was planning to go up north for the weekend. We are having perfect autumn weather, clear, sunny, & warm and here I am sicker than a dog with a miserable cold So I finished piecing and sandwiching my two runners and thought that I would take before pictures because I am going to use my new rulers and FMQ these bad boys! I have been doing a little playing already and I figures these are good sizes to jump in the deep end with. Wish me luck!

Theresa, those are so pretty. Will you post again after fmq and binding is done?

I agree, love your runners. I got to sew today and finished mine also. Just need to finish the hand sewing on the binding. Love this pattern
