White pine.....this is beautiful. Absolutely love the colors. I really like black (or is that Dk blue?) so your use of it as focus fabric and cornerstones is fantastic with these colors. Great idea about using a layer cake for this project. I have 2 layer cakes sitting waiting for inspiration....I just may do this pattern with one of them.

whitepine, love your blocks, that will make a beautiful quilt. In my mind I saw a table runner. I am making table runners for Christmas with matching trivets. I never thought to use a layer cake. What a good idea!

And thanks Judy for another trip. I really liked this one. It just seemed to go together so easily and you didn't have to pay a lot of attention to pressing seams in a certain direction.

I finished the binding last night. I will pick up the raffle tickets tomorrow and we will be on our way to making them lots of money, I hope. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, even with the addition of my husband's feet. I wish I could take better pictures. lol
