Beautiful blocks! Looking at your applique I will have to buy silk thread myself too! I'm having a hard time getting those points pointy. Another trip to the LQS next week

Lovely blocks Nancy, PJ, Jacquie, SheriR, and fromzstore! I am having fabric envy - the fabrics are all so wonderful. As others have said, it makes me want to do more DJ's using solids, brights, pastels, etc. also. I am so enjoying seeing all the blocks. Thanks for posting them. I guess I might be doing some needle work with the B12 blocks today. I plan on doing reverse applique but may change my mind after seeing my results. Have a great day everyone!!!!!

Leepat here. I tried to post a question here yesterday but guess it did not go thru. So here it is again. Has anyone tried to print the instructions on making the Dear Jane blocks from the "That Quilt" site.? I would like to print the instructions to take back north with me when I go in April. I do not have a computer up there. I have been waiting since 1997 when I got the book to start this quilt because I did not know how to do the blocks. I know you can copy and paste some things but can't seem to get only the block directions and picture to print. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Leepat -
I did this for a friend - what you need to do is make sure you put your cursor exactly at the start - or on the second word of the instruction for a block and end it as soon as you have the entire instruction - with or without pictures. You can cut and past simply the instructions without the picture, but again - start in a bit from first word and finish at last word - may have to do so before the punctuation "period" - control C and then paste into Word. I have not had a problem the couple of times I did this.

hope it helps!!
Gus

Everyone's blocks look amazing! I am very behind, but hope to catch up soon. I have been working on the orca bay mystery quilt that was over in December and now have it on my design wall and am in the process of putting it together. Once I get that where I can move on to something else, I am going to do nothing but catch up with you guys and the just takes 2 group. Its the beginning of both projects and am already behind lol. That always seems to be my motto lol

Leepat -- Another way to do it is to select the text the way Gus explained, hit the print button and choose "print selection" instead of printing the whole page. That way you don't have to paste it into Word. (The way I select the portion I want to print is to click "Edit" at the top of the screen, then choose "select all", then hold down the shift key and click at the end of the text you want to print. Either that way or the way Gus explained it work fine.)
