you're funny Geri... and I had a glass of.... rather than a cuppa just a wee bita vino w dinner... I actually dont know how to print the posts either !! What i meant was to simply put the post# - you will find one on the upper right corner of each post [this is 1081 - your last one was 1080] on your hard copy of the schedule. On the other hand - since you have the book, you could also pencil the post number next to the blo0ck in the book.. sorry can't make any corrections to what I write since I rarely have a cursor on this site. This has been happening regularly to me the past couple of weeks. I just realized the funny & yet somehwat painful memory that brings back. These days more funny than painful... After masters thesis - 20yrs after I went back to college to get a law degree. Graduated in 2004 and it took me 5 tries to pass the Bar in CA. Maybe I should say 4 cuz the 2d one I never should have taken since I went to take it the day after our son's wedding. At any rate the one I passed I had computer problems. I had taken my daughter's computer and it froze on Shift lock.... as opposed to caps lock where everything is simply capitalized but numbers and symbols stay the same. With shift lock you get a greater than sign for each period and less than for each comma. After 10-15minutes of this, I raised my hand while still typing and asked for blue books. Wrote the rest of the exams and had to shorten what I planned to write extensively. Passed with flying colors - prior to this the profs had said I knew too much law it would get me bogged down & I should forget some of it in order to pass.So ladies this has been the story of my life.... diarrhea of the mouth! my posts go on and on and on........... Enjoy! been trying to hit enter again - can't do that either!!! anyone else??

Copy and paste those posts to a word document and than print those out. I actually have a word doc set up in my Jane folder on my computer hard drive and I just continue to add to it with the tutes. Just a thought for you all. Have a great day sewing!

Hello! Happy Saturday!
I hope all you are very good!
So today I bring... the Week 7!
Here are A-9, A-7 and A-11.
These blocks were made with Paper Piecing, Reverse Appliqué, Appliqué normal and "Seams Y" by hand.
A-11 was the more difficult block that I made so far!
Here is some pictures and hope that they will be to your liking! Thank's for looking!
All American mothers, I wish for tomorrow to spend a wonderful day celebrating their day! That they are very happy and pampered them much!
A big hug to all!

Hello, Hex nut!
They look so great! I love your mini-blocks!
Everytime I look at their blocks, I feel tempted to try this challenge!
A big hug!

you know you've got a bad quilt addiction when you decide to return to your Dear Jane project and can't find the right "white" background fabric, much less all those scraps I'd put aside that were just the right colors. Where DID i put that particular stash!!!???

AND....

it makes you think: maybe I should just start over, with another color scheme....

Gladys, isn't it Mother's Day in Argentina too??? I'm from the Netherlands and I know my cousins, aunts, uncles, etc celebrate Mothers and Fathers Day [right, Anael?? by the way - where are those other Dutch women that signed on??] Your blocks are wonderful! and A11 is still the most difficult one I've done I think
Gus

happy happy Mother's Day Weekend!

I sure miss all of you. I check in from time to time and just LOVE the pics of your blocks. I am so far behind, I can't even imagine catching up with my 3 DJs! Here is a picture of my new quilting studio... notice that it is full of kitchen cabinets

I painted them all myself, thinking I would glaze them a color I liked. Changed my mind and am leaving them white. They are now on the kitchen wall and I have begun the huge task of moving. The first thing in the new home was my plastic tub of DJ supplies... fabric, sewing machine, completed blocks, etc. I didn't want to take a chance that anything would be misplaced so that I'll be able to jump back in one of these weeks. The full move will be two weeks from yesterday. Meanwhile, I've been trying to get some quilting done before the frame gets taken apart. I did finish this one http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t188634.html and am loading a promised charity quilt. Right after the move, I have to sew myself some clothes for the trip to NY at the end of July. I really can't find anything in the stores that I like or that fits The only thing that brings me hope in catching up is that we are going thru September next year for completion

Happy Mother's Day to all who qualify for the very noble title !!

happy happy Mother's Day Weekend!
Hello, Gus!
No, tomorrow do not. In Argentina we celebrate mother's day 3 Sunday in October.
According to Wikipedia tomorrow we celebrate that day so special in many parts of the world, look at:
Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium (except Antwerp), Brazil, Chile, Canada, China, Colombia (except Cúcuta), Croatia, Denmark, Ecuador, Cuba, United States. UU., Estonia, Philippines, Finland, Greece, Netherlands, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Peru, Puerto Rico, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela.
Thank you very much for your nice words to my blocks!
Yes, A-11 was very complicated and is not perfect... but it made!
I hope not to see more "seams and", really not like me!
It's time to go to sleep! That he rest all!
A big hug for each one!
Gladys
