I painted them all myself, thinking I would glaze them a color I liked. Changed my mind and am leaving them white. They are now on the kitchen wall and I have begun the huge task of moving. The first thing in the new home was my plastic tub of DJ supplies... fabric, sewing machine, completed blocks, etc. I didn't want to take a chance that anything would be misplaced so that I'll be able to jump back in one of these weeks. The full move will be two weeks from yesterday. Meanwhile, I've been trying to get some quilting done before the frame gets taken apart. I did finish this one http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t188634.html and am loading a promised charity quilt. Right after the move, I have to sew myself some clothes for the trip to NY at the end of July. I really can't find anything in the stores that I like or that fits The only thing that brings me hope in catching up is that we are going thru September next year for completion
Happy Mother's Day to all who qualify for the very noble title !!
Hi, Nancy!
What good to hear from you! I love your sewing room looks like! I like the white colors too! I am sure that it will be really beautiful! Congratulations on the quilt! It was really beautiful! I regret not knowing the name of the pattern!
Be careful lot! Happy travel and holidays!
And don't worry! I'll lane slow and only am in week 7! You can return when you can to their DJ and here we will be waiting to accompany it!
A big hug!

Am I the only one who can't access this website? I clicked on above link and I have tried several times and all I get is a page that says it can't be displayed. Help, anyone?

I am behind, too, like many of you have said. I'm trying not to fall too far behind and already looking forward to another week off - LOL.

Beautiful posts everyone, keep 'em coming! QuiltnNan, too funny, I have the EXACT same handrail and posts at my stairs (just not the nice new cabinets!).

Sorry to hear of all the problems some are having with posting. I've had a little, but not too much. Sometimes it freezes when I hit 'post,' etc.

I too have to sew clothes for myself if I want to wear dresses. I am short waisted, yet longer legs. Smaller top, larger below. I have yet to find a dress that fits my upper body and my lower body. So I normally wear blouses and skirts to work, and just sigh.

Moving right along! Got very brave, or is it foolish when I decided to do B10 quite differently. Instead of appliqueing the "crescents" in place, I pieced the whole triangle and appliqued the background corner! Had a heck of a time getting the corners to tuck properly for the diagonal bands, but it finally went quite well.

Kitsie - I actually think your B11 looks more like the real Jane than thatquilt.com's does. I reverse appliqued the crescent behind the corners - which is pretty much the same as appliqueing the corners onto the crescents! If you look carefully at the detail of the original block you can tell that the crescent is below the outer border. Your blocks look great! Gus [wow.... couldn't find the cursor again! it plays hide & seek with me! yesterday I had it, now its gone! I hit enter to sign off and adde3d a space to the top so then I just hit the space bar continually and it moved the word great down awww computers]

Hey guys! Its been a couple of months since I have been on here and haven't done any blocks since week 3. It was becoming such a hassle to scan and then enlarge my blocks to the size I needed, but for my birthday yesturday my DM bought me the Dear Jane Software!! I guess now I have to get my butt in gear and catch up lol. I am not doing the bottom 2 rows in my quilt so that it will fit on my quilting table better so I have rearranged a few blocks to take out some of the applique blocks that were there. I guess I will be spending the day catching up with the group and keeping notes on certain blocks today and then off to the machines tomorrow lol. Can't wait to get to chatting with you guys again! I was getting kinda lonely with no computer
