I them apologize that I am not doing the Dear Jean blocks!
But Monday was my birthday and I was putting together my first dress. I am very happy with it and increasingly happy to making my own clothes!
I am also learning a quilting machine, with a weekly block, you can be seen in my publications here at QB.
That all reduced my time, but I hope next week have any block made and share it with this beautiful group!

And also to each of the members of this group in particular and the Forum! I have always tried a wonderful and special, so accepting my limitations of language, teaching me and helping me to overcome my locks in my solitary steps by this world of Patchwork.
They have taught me that this beautiful hobby knows no borders nor language!
And I always dream someday know some! And give her some of my big hugs! Why not? Life can always surprise us!
My newly-minted 49 years I know that every day the sun rises with new energies!
See the Sun or clouds or the storm is in us!
I learned to see the Sun a few years, and I want to continue to do so!

I'm starting to buckle down here and get the new thread started within the next few days.... I was aiming for Feb 1st!! Ah well, so I'm month late - send out the quilting posse!!!
Thanks for the tute compliments - my plan is this - I'm starting to send out PMs tonight and will actually hold off sending them to those of you who have been checking in on a regular basis. There were over 120 names on the original interest list. I would love to be able to reach them all! According to Patrice I will be limited to sending PMs to about 5-6 at a time and if I send subsequent ones too close, they will be pulled. This is apparently the way the system works to prevent abuse or hacking or online abuse.... I guess the quilting posse does exist!!!
The name of the new thread will be "Journeys with Dear Jane: Baby Janes in the making and complete"
I will post the schedule we began with but encourage anyone wanting to to please jump in regardless of how much or little they have done. Hopefully we will see some completed Baby Janes. There will also be a parallel thread linked somehow that only I will be able to post to. The only thing found here will be tutes, helpful hints and links. This way we won't have dozens of compliments and comments on lots of pages and those who want to get right down to brass tacks and don't have time to look at everything [what a shame!!] can just go to those pages. All of the tutes in this thread will either be repeated in their entirety if that is feasible, or will be linked or referenced.
Patrice will shut down this thread at that time and link to the new thread.

I've been dabbling a bit in my Jane but will be picking it up more with photos to follow. Thanks so much for keeping this "alive" as well as all the other posters!

I'm posting here so maybe I'll get notice of the new thread. Gladys, your dress is lovely, I love blues and blue floral!! Gus, love your blocks. I have 4 done, I'm the slowest one in the world but life keeps interfering. I'm now doing kids quilts for a family that had a fire. Those have to come first! Than preparing some hexies for working on at the Big 10 championship Womens BB finals. Happy sewing everyone.
