I have been away at my quilt retreat all weekend. It was awesome. I got so much done and had so much fun. I will try to post pictures tomorrow. Who knew sewing for 16 hours straight could be so tiring. I have Illinois upstairs in my sewing room 2/3 done so I couldn't take it with me. I finished Indiana on retreat. It isn't as ugly as the one in the book but it isn't one of my favorites. I also did a harmonic convergence quilt that I think is awesome. I would like to applique something on it. I have some ideas rumbling around in my head. I also did a pinwheel twist returned. It just needs one more border. THere is a small bonus quilt when you cut it I still need to assemble it.
All of the blocks are so awesome. Poker diva yours came out really nice. I am wanting to finish this because I am dying to see them all together. I just can't wait to see the next one. Everyone at retreat was really impressed with my stars so far.

A song to sew by: Illinois Blues

Goldendog, Love your Florida. I think those solid colors make the designs show up so nicely.

KLGreene, Love those colors in your 'Rhonda block.' Blue and yellow, my favorites. I also ditto what you said about wondering how these working moms are getting so much done. Hats off to you folks. And now spring is here and the outdoor chores are upon us.

I have cut pretty much as the book has said, but in this Illinois block I thought the small '32' pieces was very skimpy. I wrote to add 1/4" next time.

Beautiful blocks, as usual.

No, I'm not using sashing. That's why I'm alternating between black and white blocks.

Pretty Delaware! I think I started with Delaware too since I hadn't done much PP and this all looked so daunting- but it isn't. Keep in piecing!!!
