Sue, you are right, moving is the key! We have 3 dogs and every day I take one of them for a 7 mile mountain bike ride, or a 4 mile walk. They need it and so do I. I didn't start out doing so much, I built up to it. But even 30 minutes of walking is a great start!!

I have 5 of my 7 rows sewed together. I probably won't get much done tonight since it is Halloween. We alway have a ton of trick or treaters. We had over 250 last year. Not sure how many we will have this year it is about 40 degrees and there has been a light drizzle all day. People bring in car loads from other neighborhoods.

Meanmom, I can't wait to see your top!

We never get trick or treaters, and that is why I always buy OUR favorite candies, just in case... Around here, they drive them out to neighborhoods in town where it is more populated so they can get a bigger bang for their buck!

Here it is. I am having a hard time getting a good picture. I tried outside and inside. I can't get the colors to show up right. But here it is. I am really happy with how it looks. Now to decide how to quilt it. I used 49 blocks in the quilt. I pulled Vermont out and plan on making 4 of them to use as a wall hanging. When you put 4 Vermonts together it makes a nice secondary design. If you look at the block I am going to make it so the line that runs thru it is all the same color and the rest will be multi color.

I will have to look at it for a while to decide how to quilt it. I am thinking of having it done. It is a large queen size and I hate doing them on my machine. I still need to make a back.

That is spectacular! I can't tell whether you used the more muted or brighter of the two sashings, but whichever it is, it's perfect. I love it.
