On the vintage machines site on here we did this for someone. We sent a 9 patch with a plain center so we could send a message or just our names and states to a person and then they ( in this case they assembled them into a quilt )sent the quilt to the person. So I know it can be done. I would be glad to send one or two also.

I love Windblown's idea.

Dotty, I know Lynnie volunteered you but if you don't have the time, let me know. I can contact her for her address and forward it to anyone who PMs me. I don't want her to post her address here.

Vicki, I have to ask....what are leaders and enders?
You just start sewing 4 or 9 patches (all scraps), start with it & end with it while making your blocks from something else you're working on at the time, they pile up & when you think you have enough to make a quilt...go for it! You never break your thread. Here is the one I just finished that I talked about above. You get great scrappies & before you know it, another quilt! These are UFO's & will remain that way till eventually I finally quilt & bind them...they are all batik/blender 2 1/2" squares, then found a brown blender to put it all together...all out of stash... I work on about 3 different sets of L/E at the same time. I am putting together another L/E batch of 2" squares also at this time. I can post that probably in a week or so...I am using it to put this mystery together. The below one I got finished doing BHMQ.

Default Blocks for Jolo

I'll send you a pm & organize. Some of us on QB have done this before.
Another one of my teacher sayings in "Giving is getting".

Jolo will get back to us with an idea of color or theme that she would like. You all are great.
Did you know that 2 years ago QB members sent 107 quilts for victims of Hurricane Sandy? And we help many others.
