This is another one with a bit more embroidery on it - perhaps I should have used a brighter colour

Block 18 completed today, messed up lots on this one, had to add embellishment to cover and not looking forward to 19 more of those curly pieces.

Well if you messed up it sure turned out pretty. I love the lace, what a great idea.

Donna, I think it turned out to be lovely! Aren't those "mess ups" called opportunities to be creative???? You were and it looks great!

Wow, that's a first with the lace on it - why didn't I think of that?

Here's my block 18. I may have to add some embroidery around those dark green leaves as they seem to blend into the background a bit. I enjoyed working on this one,

They don't look half as 'lost' as Aie's dark leaves do Judy. It was ages before I realised that there were some in the corners at all!

Love it Judy! I haven't even looked at this block yet I don't think! It looks just fine to me..but you know best since you see it in person...I don't think it would hurt it any..but it looks great "as is"!

I love the lace you added. It looks beautiful. I think you have come up with a great solution to a problem.

I was greatfull for a simple one to sew. I love the way it turned out. The more i get done the more i can't wait to finish. I have a few ideas for my border and they are not the one's in the book.
