Oh thank you!!! At first I though...well, she must be insane! LOL!! You know I'm joking..but there for a minute, I thought oh wow...she must be some talented appliquer to do these blocks in 5"...the 7" are hard enough!

After some trial and error, I finished the bobbin work on my first block..I am not thrilled with it, but it is my first time so I just have to go through the learning curve..if I do get better, I'll make this one again. I am so jealous of all the pretty work you all are doing...one day, I aspire to get half as good as you all.

Oh, I forgot to say, thanks for introducing me to bobbin work, even though I am still learning, it is a lot of fun, I can see myself using it again and again. And I did omit some parts on the outer hearts, don't need to make more starts and stops for myself than I need to

I'm sorry I posted all of my blocks on page 20 and even duplicated a few. I didn't realize that there were other topic pages to do that. : (

Donīt worry about it, you can go and post your pics in the various topics if you want. As a Moderator I can delete them here if you really want but it isnīt a problem, you can post them in both places. okay

lynnie k, I like both blocks but block 2 really is an eye popper. I think I would go with it.

I spent 4 days on this block. I finally finished it last night. I did some ripping out but I am going to live with the rest of the mistakes. This is my first time doing needle turn applique and I haven't embroidered in over 30 years. I am using Coats & Clark rayon embroidery thread. I love the thread but it is harder to work with than the cotton thread. I loved the colors when I picked them out but after I finished the block, I was sick of looking at them! One block down and 35 to go!

Well Losie, fret no more, it looks gorgeous and we all have that feeling after looking at the same fabric and having to rip, but believe me its beautiful with the green and lavender. Love the hearts fabric, you did great and remember it does get easier believe me.

That's a wonderful block, Losie! I feel like I sound like an echo, but it's true! Don't you feel great knowing that you got started before Monday?
I'm not going to answer the phone or anything tomorrow!
For all of you that have posted blocks so far...if mine come out as nice as any of yours, I'll be very happy!
    Be proud of yourselves
