Note: both these blocks have alot of bias
seams so please starch your fabric.

Block # 45 Grape Basket

1. Light T # 34 Cut one 1-3/4"(ru) square

2. Light T # 48 Cut two 1-3/4" (ru) x 4-1/8" strips.

3. Light T # 33 Cut one 3-5/16" square then in half diagonally

4. Dark T # 33 Cut one 3-5/16" square then in half diagonally
set aside one triangle.

5. Light T # 38 Cut a strip 2-1/8" (ru) x 13-1/2" then every 2-1/8" to get six 2-1/8" squares
Cut one of the squares in half diagonally then set one triangle aside. Mark a line on the remaining
five squares diagonally.

6.Dark T # 38 take the set aside triangle from step 4 and then cut your 2 triangles from the larger one.

7. Med T # 38 Repeat step 5 for the cutting only then take the squares and place them right sides facing
sew a scant 1/4" seam along both sides of the marked line. press to set the seam flip open then press seam to the dark side.

Block # 46 Hill and Valley

1.Dark T # 21 Cut two 1-15/16" sqyares

2. Med T # 8 Cut toow 3-7/8" squares then in half

3. Dark T # 3 Cut two 2-7/8" squares then in half diagonally

4. Med T # 20 Cut two 2-3/8"( ru) then in half diagonally

5. Dark T # 20 Cut one 2-3/8" (ru) then in half diagonally.
