Great job Midwestmom!!

Sorry I didn't post block #s on Monday...we had a really bad storm blow through Iowa Monday afternoon (100+mph winds!!) Thankfully we didn't have any damage at our house (a few branches down and a couple trees in our timber), but Cedar Rapids/Marion (nearest big cities) are disaster areas as well as the nearest small town and several other places around the state! A lot of people have no power...we were without for a little over 24hrs.

Week #2 blocks for those who need them are: #92 & #70

Oh Jeanie! Love your newest blocks!! I get a cortisone shot in my thumb next week, then Lord willing I'll be able to start working on these blocks. The extra trimming with pp'ing is just too much for me right now.

I am failing at posting block #s each Monday...I am so sorry!!! Maybe next week I'll do better...just to be safe, here are for this week and next!!Aug 17th-23rd #53 & #76

Aug 23th-30th #19 & #52

Life throws us a curve, Carrie, and we will all live through it, God willing. Maybe I will get the energy to return to quilt again. We can hope.

I thought last week's blocks were hard. I had to rip out and resew so many seams as I went along. I hope this weeks are easier!
