Original and unique. But done. Will do the next ones next Saturday and Sunday, after the big day of Open House and buffet for lunch and supper. Eighty per cent chance of rain and snow on Thursday, maybe no one will come. Time will tell.

Both of your blocks are so pretty QuiltingNinaSue. The dark fabric in your first one reminds me of marble which I love, Your second one has such pretty flowers in grass as I am peeking through lattice.

Here's my Mary-- decided to make the center square from one fabric instead of two. Terrible job on matching the corner points, oh well! *roll my eyes* But good enough for me.

Good idea, Givio. Those tulips fit together perfectly. I'm a devout paper piecer, and I sometimes find it difficult to figure out where to cut the fabric to match it up like that.
