Looks like I will have to get a 30's solid blue, to the computer I go, trying to stay close to the colors of blocks in book

Do u ladies take the paper of to iron they seem to lay so flat, I haven't ironed any of mine yet, just been finger pressing the seams, I didn't know if the iron would damage the paper or not

Teri Lynn, I press with the paper on. I also use mary's best press and it hasn't caused any problems. The only issue I had right at first is that I had printed on a laser printer and the toner rubbed off on my fabric. Once I switched over to an ink jet it's been smooth sailing.

Honchey, now that it doesn't take me 7 hours to make one block, I can actually post them on time.

Everybody's Blossom is lovely, Don't care too much for Bonnie,(not your Bonnie, just the block itself) might have to gussy her up a bit.

Here are my blossom and bonnie. I gussied Bonnie up a bit and used some flannel scraps in the blossom block.

Nice ironing, Pam! Did you iron the seams open on Blossom?
Here's my Bonnie. I had a dog named Bonnie. She was the most loyal little dog ever! We are fostering a rescue that is named Dot. So, that's where the idea came from for my fabric choices.

Givio, I'm glad you think it's exceptional. I thought so too when I saw it. I don't buy fabric anymore at all unless it's exceptional or unusual. I think I bought this piece about three years ago, it's a screen print by Robert Kaufman (D# 11918). I can see, I think it was called animal spirits. I can just see, spirits at the end of the selvage. It has 10 different animal on it. I just bought 1/4 yard.
