Here are my two blocks. I took a nap, and it lasted longer than planned. lol

They don't show up as well with both together.

Pam P both of your blocks are so pretty. I like the soft green and pink print. The soft yellow is pretty with the red solid and the print fabric.

Sewbizgirl those two are delightful. Your pink is pretty with the solid and nice print. The red with print and another solid is really nice.

Nina Sue your blocks are just so pretty. That first block with the yellow and blue flowers goes so well with the rich green and soft blue floral. Your second block is so pretty and your very own. More pretty flowers and rich colors.

Yay... more blocks! Nina Sue, how smart to redesign... I am going to do a Civil War Sampler next and the blocks are simpler like that. I am looking forward to some easier PPing. Love your fussy cut flowers.

Susan, your blocks are just darling; very vintage-looking. Your PPing looks really great.

I love seeing everybody's work! Thanks for posting.

QNS, I like your take on those green corners!
Lots of individual fabric choices from each of you... batiks, 30's, vintage, scrappy, etc.
I'm getting farther behind. Taking a break, I guess. *roll my eyes*

Everyone's blocks are just terrific this week. Such lovely fabrics and a little fussy cutting here and there, too!

Nice blocks Susan! The yellow in your block looks more like the one in the book and I didn't have that color. I need to get more solids I think.

Katybob, love the colors in your blocks. I hadn't used white in any of mine yet. That is so pretty.

Sweet blocks, Katybob! Love your colors and your piecing looks great too.

I'm going to keep plugging along trying to catch up from the front of the book. I'm so far behind everyone, but I'm having so much fun with these that I might even catch up before long.

Last night I was playing with HSTs... at my quilting group I have become known as the person to give your tiny scraps to! One lady handed me a big baggie stuffed with HSTs in maroon and white. Some were sewn, and some just cut. I think these may have been "bonus triangles" she cut off some bigger blocks she made. Anyway, there are enough for 12, 16-patch blocks. I decided to do a sampler of ways to put 16 HSTs together into different blocks. Waste not, want not, right? It will probably be a charity donation.

Thank you Pam P. Part of my fabrics were in strips etc. that were given to me off the offer section on the board. They sure did come in handy for this. I had a couple of people on the board send me some fat quarters last year. One set I won, and the other was a just because. I am a waste not want not too Sewbizgirl. I have a little catcher where I sew that with little tiny pieces to little to use I store up in baggies to stuff pillows for my doggies.

Katybob, your two blocks are just so pretty. Great job! I always like pink, and the other with the pretty green floral with the white back ground is so pretty. I haven't yet used a solid white background yet either. I first was going too, and then decided to wait a bit.
