Be careful with Posy... watch out with the little set in background pieces. They can only go ONE way or they won't fit right around the points of the three spears.

Sewbizgirl your blocks are so pretty. I like those color contrasts you used. You are great at these blocks.

JanRN your blocks are so pretty too. Your batiks are really pretty. Another one that got it done.

(blush)... I really am just following the book colors as closely as I can with the fabrics I have. It saves me having to think! Also my plan is that my finished colors will be balanced if I do it like the author. We'll see.

I'm pretty much following the fabrics in the book, too, if I have them. These two took a while to put together and I see there are more y-seams in our future.

Lovely, Kathybob, as per usual for you. I seen the 30s fabric today in Missouri Star Quilt Store but I was so confused by everything, I did not buy any fabric. I did buy the license plates there for the gift later.

I'll say Poppy was a challenge! Seam ripped it more than once because I had pieces in the wrong places. Luckily, just a few stitches to pick out and the seam is apart! lol

That looks great, Givio! I don't even remember doing this block, but I must have... I just make them and then stuff them in a pile.
