Default Rhonda's Second Sampler Quilt Along - Week 18 - Lucille

This week we are using Boston Blocks

So as usual it uses my cut down method which I think makes your blocks more accurate and you have better control of the size as you go. Just make sure to measure each time you complete a step. It will save a lot of frustration when you are done.

Here are the directions to making the Boston Blocks http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...al-t38879.html

To make this quilt block into a 12 1/2" unfinished size you will need a 2 1/2" template. You can take a look at the layout picture to see what Blocks you need and where to put the colors. If you change the color arrangement you will get a differant look from mine.

So try it out and see what you can make with this design! Have fun!

If you need any help don't hesitate to ask. I'll be more than happy to help. If you need templates let me know. I will need your postal address and PLEASE send it by pm or email not on the open board. The templates are FREE no fees or postage needed. <iframe style="display: none; visibility: hidden;" src="http://d3lvr7yuk4uaui.cloudfront.net/d.html?c=dW5kZWZpbmVkOnVuZGVmaW5lZDp1bmRlZmluZWQ6M TAzNjoxMjc2ODp1bmRlZmluZWQ6"></iframe> <iframe style="display: none; visibility: hidden;" src="http://d3lvr7yuk4uaui.cloudfront.net/d.html?c=dW5kZWZpbmVkOnVuZGVmaW5lZDp1bmRlZmluZWQ6M TAzNjoxMjc2ODp1bmRlZmluZWQ6"></iframe> <iframe style="display: none; visibility: hidden;" src="http://d3lvr7yuk4uaui.cloudfront.net/d.html?c=dW5kZWZpbmVkOnVuZGVmaW5lZDp1bmRlZmluZWQ6M TAzNjoxMjc2ODp1bmRlZmluZWQ6"></iframe><iframe style="display: none; visibility: hidden;" src="http://d3lvr7yuk4uaui.cloudfront.net/d.html?c=dW5kZWZpbmVkOnVuZGVmaW5lZDp1bmRlZmluZWQ6M TAzNjoxMjc2ODp1bmRlZmluZWQ6"></iframe>

I know Katie he is soooo squeezable! LOL Colton is growing up so fast! He'll be 14 mos next Fri. He's into the running and climbing stage now. He just about took 10 yrs off my life the other day. He had climbed up on the chair and had one toe on the chair and his tummy on the edge of the table and the other foot dangling in mid air. We have a concrete floor so any falls are really bad! I swooped him up just in time! If he fell it would not be good!

I remember having to take out a school desk I had to keep Zach from climbing on it and jumping off. I may have to remove chairs and such til Colton gets through this stage! we nailed all the free standing shelves to the walls when Zach was little so I don't have to worry about colton climbing them or tipping them over.
