OMG ... I didn't realize you did 142 FWS, QNSue ... did you do repeats? or use other blocks of the size? Maybe to help inspire you for the last stretch, you could show us a pic of where it's at now? If it's all sashed and hanging in one piece ... you're on home stretch! Yesssssssss!!!!!

Yes, spring is coming in here fast and furious ... now here's a real earlybird ... yesterday I was in town and saw this purple bush at a house next to an office I was visiting. I wondered what it was, so went over to look at it, and OMG it was a Miniature Lilac!!! The scent was incredible and the bees were busy as I'm sure it was the only thing blooming for miles! Talk about being a confused bush ... there was hardly a leaf on it. NOw I know they came out with an everbearing Lilac a few yrs ago, but this is ridiculous! Even our early bloomers, do NOT bloom til the end of May, or often not til June!! I'll be keeping an eye on that bush every time I drive by now on. If anyone else had told me so, I would have told them they were nuts and that it must have been silk or plastic!!!

Being that I'd really really would like to include Jersey cows in my PC, ........ I'll put in a "request" for one and all ....... does anyone by chance have any hiding in their stash? Or have seen it in their LQS? I know the fabric was made, though I can't find any IRL or online. Please? and Thanks!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
I'm Loving--LovingIzabella!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean your horses share their stables?
And while you're looking, you might want to look for Guernseys for OKSGlad ... I'm sure she won't put them in "this" quilt, but might like them.
And perhaps I might have some horses to trade back?

Bless You!! Bless You!! Bless You!!

Wow, JeanieG, great job on that bugger of a block Confederate Rose!! I love the little red rose fabric. And, love the saddles in your cat's paw with the wood fabric, really nice contrast and beautiful colors in both!!

Wow..you started off with a bang for being out of circulation for two weeks. What will you do when you're hitting on all cylinders? Glad you're with us.

Beautiful blocks, DD. Glad you're feeling better. Are you hand stitching these like you did for FWS? They are so pretty.

QE, here in western PA all the daffodils, forsythia, and some pink trees that I don't know the name of are in full bloom. We're usually still shoveling snow until the end of March, first week of April. DH is going to mow the lawn this afternoon--it's 78*. And there are some who doubt climate change, just sayin' (LOL).

DDamsel ... just saw your blues and whites over on the Milestone thread and when OMG, so beautiful ... and nice to see these two blocks!! It's going to make for a beautiful quilt ... fresh and crisp! I just read your profile and "got" the baby quip. And also picked up the FW part of your life .... me-thinks that FarmerDH will NOT get anywhere near this pretty quilt! At least, I sure would NEVER have let mine anywhere near anything white!

JanRN ... beatchya!! ........... we hit an idiotic 27C today (translation ... 80.6F) with a humidex of 30C. And it's supposed to be the same for the next couple of days. Nearby Hamilton had "smog warnings" today already ... usually not til well into summer before that happens. UGH!!! While it's nice to see the nice weather, I totally hate it when ti's HHH ... UGH some more!!!!!!!!

Everything must be looking beautiful ... sadly there's bound to be a frost and ruin all the prettyness!! Pink trees ... perhaps flowering crab apples? or flowering almonds? Heard today that the cherry trees are blooming already in DC ... kind of early for that festival!!

I have just read what I missed on this thread & boy have I miss Ya'll. Ya got me grinning from ear ta ear! Oh & such beautiful blocks! As for Spring here we've also had such strange whether 80 degrees one day & threatening rain with 63 or 64 degrees the next. And does it rain, no, it just sprinkles & moves on down the way. My daffodils are up, & my Hycenthes have already bloomed.. All of the trees have budded out & some are blooming. We usually get an Easter freeze, so I'm worried that every thing will get frost bite. We've also had a few sand storms already but that is normal.
