As for the towels ... I'm not from the churning era, but I did embroider several sets of those towels with days of the week and other sayings. Thanks GGal ... though I'm not a great one for online ordering. I still have this hangup of liking to do the touchy-feely thing when I'm selecting fabric! There's a couple of stores here where I expect I can get it. PLus I live near Mennonite/Amish communities, so chances are I would get it in their home shops.

GGal ... My handquilted quilts have been done by an Amish lady. You should have Amish not far off from you, as well, I suspect? The nearest for me are only about 1/2 hour away.

OH no!!! I forgot ta go & git these 2 threads! I guess I was so busy thinkin' about the trip ta Brady! I love the toweling site! Hmmmm, I'm thinkin' about makin' valances for the kitchen in Brady outa some o' 'em.
