Hello Jan--

I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Praying for you and yours. Thanks for the tip on the living will.

JanRN. prayers are with you as you go about this week. Its never easy to lose a loved one, even if they grow old and a bit senile, you love them. Take one day at a time, one hour at a time, one step at a time; do not rush, just slow down, and move along. Rejoice in your good memories of your Mother; thank Him for having her as long as you did.

Yes, living wills are good to have no matter your age. Protect young children by naming their care taker(s) in a will and how your estate is to be handled. We have peace of mind because we have set up our wills and living wills. The past year, settling my FIL estate was very disturbing because $140,00 remains missing...unknown whereabouts and unaccounted for. It haunts me because he told me how much he had saved because he wanted me to know. Little mysteries of life always seem to haunt a person. Best laid plans of mice and men often go astray. That seems be be the way of Life for us..

JanR...so thankful for your Mother's wisdom that makes it easier for you even now. What a thoughtful, loving person she must have been. I second QNSue's thoughts. Take good care of yourself and thank you so much for letting us know how things had changed in your life.

Jan-no matter how old we are it is hard to loose your mother. May you long remember all the goodness and kindness she shared in her life. Peace and prayers.
