Last night a good start on the BB's. Today's personal sewing interrupted by a no school day so Emily came down with Dad for a sewing morning with Gram. We are working on another GPA's shirts quilt for DH. This one is a strippy 6 " square setting. She's so fun to listen to as she's sewing away. Shows she has more confidence in her sewing.
I got an email from my guild friend with pics for the Fund Raiser. The Bubblegum Stars was the top seller--good because it was the most work with 25 2 1/4" 9P's. I did PP the star points.

Thanks, QuiltE, but I liked your recipe the best!! Yes, those eggs are comin' on like no tomorrow! The hens are so happy, they gather and sing to dh every time he goes into the chicken yard! Happy Hens. Cannot believe how 16 to 18 eggs daily add up so quickly.

Delivered the 'throws' to dh AIL this morning and she was very pleased. Took pictures that I will post later on. Sent the two boxes out...one to CarrieM and other to OksewGlad...should arrive on Wednesday to both sites.

RED LETTER DAY went into pharmacy for medicine and it turned out, they OWED me money...wondering if I should buy a lottery ticket????To recover a lost camera from June 2005, to delivery of the AIL throws, and get more than $20. back from the pharmacy...has never happened to me before!! WOW!!. What a week!! Everyone. lets gather in the virtual RV and celebrate! I am buying pie for everyone...you bring your choice of coffee or tea or whatever!!

Oksewglad, beautiful quilts!

Mirabelle, my DDIL wanted to take pictures today but her camera died the moment she took the first picture She wasn't pleased!
Tomorrow I will finish the sheets and take them to my DDIL. She can wash them with all the other stuff and take them with her to hospital. I would behappy to wash them but I have no idea what's right and what's wrong so I leave that to her (or my DS ). The hospital is very strickt about what is allowed.
It's 11.00 pm here, I'm getting ready to go to bed and read a little. First I have to feed my killer kitty!
Latest update on Bram and Isa: they're doing ok.
CU all tomorrow!

I'm arriving with two teas ready for all to celebrate ... Bear Trap and Coconut Chai Rooibos!

QNSue ... Yeehaw!!! Congratulations on your BB mailing! and it'd seem that either a lottery ticket or more fabric would be the order of the day!

OKSGlad ... I bet there's more fabric on its way to you. What a great way to spend a snow day, sitting and sewing with LilOKSG!! This will be a favourite for her, to be making a quilt for her own DGF. With all her chatting, she's definitely a quilter. Have you learned anything surprising in those chats? Beautiful quilts and I bet they were highlights of the auction, that were fought over!

MiraB ... so did you get a fancy schmancy new camera?

Anael ... yea for you and all the new baby things! Don't feel badly about leaving the washing to your DDIL/DS. They will appreciate and ENJOY the chore beyond belief to be touching and working with the little things that Bram and Isa will use. Sweet Dreams!

Don't know about fancy schmancy but it is purple. Bought a Fujifilm JZ100. Have just started charging the battery and tried to load the CD onto the computer but it won't read the CD.
I was trying to download an embroidery CD yesterday and it wouldn't read either so maybe I have to get the computer fixed Just tried to ring them but the office is unattended.

So nothing more to do at the moment but turn the aircon on in the sewing room and get some more blocks made.

I have a slow download tonight and it has several yet to be seen pictures but first one is lovely.
