Anael ... yes, that one ... and I think there were 2 or 3 more that you used your PC blocks in.
Look at how much they've grown. As you said, the ECG must have been OK, with no further reports. Hope so!

Yes, DDamsel ... find that camera and shoot that block!

CarrieM ... your head must be feeling better, with all that progress! Yea, for you!

JeanieG ... a handy chart indeed! I have a similar one right at my printer/copier and have used it a lot. Oh how I love this new printer for those sort of tricks! Or for reducing before printing.

*picturing* OKSGlad with wine glass in hand as she plays board games with the Grands! We're seeing such a different side of her when away from the farm!!

MiraB ... you'll have to send DH on holidays to get your space back! (aka send him fishing! )

Shuffled those blocks, and now am already seeing bunches of too much blue together ... too much open yellow ... too much blocky-blocks together. And it is so patchy ... I think a wider sashing would have been better on the 8" blocks. arrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Honchey! Though I am not convinced it being classed as beautiful.Scottie Dog was for YOU ... mental telepathy, I guess!
I made him because every farm has a dog and it was the best dog pattern I found.
Then after he was made I thought, OMG, ... kind of a prissy dog misplaced on a farm!
So I decided to leave him there for some humour!

Next ... figure out the borders!

QE--just getting ready to shut down the laptop for the night and so glad I decided to check in quick before heading to bed. Your quilt looks great!! The animals are spread out nicely and don't look out of place. It is a very beautiful quilt...good job!!!! I too was thinking a little wider sashing would be nice...probably will do that with my other PC quilt when I get to it. What are you doing for borders?

****I see we posted at the same time and you aren't sure yet on the borders.****

QuiltE your quilt is beautiful, love the different blocks like the scottie and the bird, just gorgeous. Can't wait to see what your longarmer does with this one.

I finally finished this last night, will be giving it to DD tomorrow as I won't see her on her birthday. Couldn't get a close up of the quilting in the blocks, too much shine in the fabric. I used all the leftover fabric to create a multi-coloured binding, but now I have smaller leftover bits See you never really use it all up
And I had to get one with my guard dog
Hope you enjoy

I heard the postie this morning so waited downstairs to see if he would stop but he just went down the street so no MB's for me today

The stitching looks like the bobbin thread is coming to the top but its not really, just when it is magnified by the camera
