Yes Carrie! I got another sewin' machine! I have a pict that I'll load on the computer soon, ta show ya. It is a black "Sewmatic" The 80 yr old lady said that it still worked but she couldn't lift it anymore ta use it. She wanted $25 dolors for it. I told her that I wasn't gonna "cheat" her that way & gave her $50 for it. She looked like she needed it. It does run & did sew straight. I oiled it & greased it. The feed dogs won't adjust up or down. They are kinda stuck in the middle which makes the stitches length hard ta adjust also. I went ahead & brought it back here & will have my Machine Guy take care o' it. The case smells terrible so I gotta find out a case ta put it in as it won't sit by itself.

I was going to say a sewing machine too! LOL

Honchey, that living room looks like my son's house when we visit. They are always moving the cushions all over. I told them that grandma was going to trip and fall trying to maneuver through the living room with all those cushions all over the place. As long as they put it all to rights, I guess it does not hurt anything!

Congrats on the "new" sewing machine Dublb, I am sure you will have fun with it.

I managed to get the raffle quilt basted today and thought I would make a start on it SO turned the air-con on and quilted two blocks and broke 4 needles have walked away from it for today and will "think" about it tomorrow...

Honchey, you got your approval

Mirabelle, that's when I walked away from my quilt too. Took a break, new needle, slowed down a bit and no broken needles anymore. I'm now outside sewing the binding on the practice quilt. The weather is great, first time this year

Anael such a simple pattern and you have showcased your gorgeous feathers beautifully. It has certainly given this quilt the WOW factor... I love it How big did the quilt end up?? it looks a good size

Thank you Karen! I still don't know if I like it with all those feathers.
It ended up 80 x 55", just measured it as I didn't know myself
