Fresh picked strawberries; how fabulous!! I had to get my first ones at the store and fix for dh!!

sneak peek, QuiltE??? Ok, I am using Lisa Cogar's Quilted Devotions 24 Biblical Blocks book on my FFC's 'cause good friends are Heaven Sent. Everything happens for a reason, even the spill last night!! Have four other companion fabrics to add to the original fabric.

Have the border cut out for the PC quilt, for a Day Bed. Have the four rows sewn together for the BBs...now to sew each row together. (Hint: true blue friends) Looking at FS, but just looking right now.

mmmmm .... I've never had them with sour cream, sugar and cinnamon ... that sounds oh so delectable!!!
Good man that he helped you with the picking. Or did he eat more than he picked?
So ... did you tell him all about SEX and Cheap SEX?

Something I must remember to try when berries come in season here.
Wonder if that will ever happen this year?

When I worked doing catering for private house parties...there would be a decorative cornicopia with strawberries coming out of it and a server with sourcream dip with the sugar and cinnamon...oh it was sooo good...
I have a request that if possible the creator of a MB hopefully provide a pp pattern or website where the block came from...If it's not too much of an inconvenience...

No strawberries here and I will have to wait a long time before I can pick them in my backyard!!

QuiltE, I can visit the twins only once a week I explained the Y seams in the other thread. It's because of the foundation pattern and when I realized this it was too late to start over again without waisting fabric and I hate to do that. So I did Y seams

It's time to go to sleep, it's 11.30 pm here already! Need to feed killer kitty and CU all tomorrow!

Anael ... Sleep well!!! Sometimes I think the pattern makers don't look at what their computers create for them. So sad for you that you can only visit the twins one per week. Especially when they are SO close to you now!

Honchey ... stop it!!! You're making me want to go out and buy some of those not-so-good-plastic strawberries and try this right now! I can see all sorts of possibilities with most any fruit! Your dabbles are looking pretty darned nice!!!

Good idea to include the patterns for our MBs.
You're going to see a recurring theme with the MBs that I make ... as I am hoping to make all with a Friendship theme. However, I may have a challenge to make that happen with those with "specific" block requests. Here's the first ones ...

JanieW's March MB ... Flower of Friendship
http://www.quilterscache.com/F/Flowe...shipBlock.html

MiraBelle's April MB ... Friendship Star Variation
http://www.mccallsquilting.com/patte....html?idx=8057

_______ May MB ... You've got to kidding, if you think I'm going to spill on that?

Honchey, now we need yours!

The little birdie didn't poop on me but left a beautiful block....Thanks, Honchey! The picture doesn't begin to do it justice.
Carrie...I have 6 blocks done if I count the one already sent. There are just a couple that I don't have a clear plan yet for what I will do but I'm sure the inspiration will come.
QuiltE...hummm what will they be?
Honchey...Strawberries? They really look good. It seemed like spring was finally here this past week but we have frost warnings tonight. It's rained a lot this week and there is flooding here but we live high up on a hill so we're not bothered. I am aware of many people that are being affected by it and with the man made disasters of this past week...really the past year with droughts, and hurricanes too...not a time to take safety and protection for granted. I'm daily thankful for it!!!!

Will post information about my MB's as soon as they have been revealed, cause April's has not been received yet and May is made just waiting for the calendar to click to May.

Carrie, you asked about dies for the Sizzix Big Shot. I have only three, and they are Sizzix dies. I got the Big Shot to cut my scraps into squares for my leader/ender projects (a la Bonnie Hunter) because it was 1/3 of the price of the Accuquilt. The dies I have are Squares#2 (this one has 1", 1 1/2", 2", and 2 1/4" squares all on one die), I have a 2 1/2" squares (4 on die), and 5" square. The Sizzix cuts fabric beautifully. I find that sometimes I need to add a thin cardboard to the bottom of the die if it is not cutting cleanly. That small addition works wonders.

We were posting at the same time GGal, what a beautiful block, I love the fabrics they look like Robyn Pandolph.

Honchey what a cute applique pattern, you wouldn't think those fabric were Kaffe Fassetts, I love the way you have cut them to define the dress, well done

Now I am staying off the computer to get the last 5 blocks quilted, have a great day everyone.
