Have been busy today but sounds as though everyone else has been also.

Anael prayers for Isa and that there are no long term problems with her eyes, she has come too far..

JeanieG what a beautiful quilt top, love what you did with the borders, can't wait to see the other one.

QuiltE heading to the finish line also

Please forgive me for not answering everyone's post, it is almost 11pm here and I have to be up early in the morning, I have a big day out with the local patchwork group hosting a show n tell with lunch and raffles and stuff. Have packed a couple of quilts to show, will try and take a couple of photos to share.

Good night

Anael--you don't have to rush to clean your table off right away!! I can wait until you are done working on your OTM blocks so that you don't mess up the order. That is another beautiful block.

OK--I will take some updated pictures this morning on my way to work and post tonight. Honestly I haven't been down to the bridge again...it still looks pretty high through the woods.

Thanks for the input on tables. QE--I will be calling my dealer as I know she said $450-$500, not $600 for a Janome table. I need to contact the "sew perfect" people too and see if there is access to the feed dog drop button. Good thing I still have to save for a couple months so have time to decide.

I would like to know how to read things that I haven't seen or read before. How do I go about that? I seem to be looking at the same things over and over.the articles change color after you read them but don't stay that way. When I go back the next day they are all the same color and I don't remember what I already looked at.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Carrie, there's no order to mess up There's only a lot of fabric which I should have put away but didn't.
I worked outside all day, except early this morning when I made the Pieced Basket block. The weather is still lovely, sunny and warm. Makes me wonder how long this will last! Most of the time only a few days

No news on the Isa front. The eye doc saw her today, nothing changed, another check up later this week so they're staying in the hospital where they are now. Isa is 6.6 lbs now, Bram 5.5 lbs. End of this week they would have been due (April 27th).

Thanks so much everyone for the nice comments on my PC Quilt. I've started laying out the backing.

QNS - the quilt measures 60 X 80.

Anael - Wow, Isa has really gained weight. Will they be releasing her to come home soon?

Jan - How did I get the borders to fit! LOL - When I first sewed the 5" squares together with the 1 1/2" strips, they did not fit (of course), even though I thought I had measured and figured out how many I needed. On the side borders I ended up taking about every other one apart and sliver cut the squares. On the top border, it was a little too small, so I took a tad smaller seam on the cream color border sashing. I just messed with it until it worked. The only thing that had to match was the corners. As you can see from a distance, you cannot tell that thy are a smidge off here and there, and that is ok with me! Most people would not notice, I don't think.

Now don't send the quilt police after me!

Ms. Kay, I do not know what to tell you. I go to the discussion page and then to the last page, if something is referred to that I do not remember reading about, I go back one page at a time, until it looks familiar.. I guess you can 'subscribe' to this thread and the computer will tell you when new info is posted.

Anael, thanks for the update on the SewGrands, its nice to know they both have gained so much weight...and are doing fine.

Have fun Honchey, and tell us about it later.

Ms. Kay - maybe you could jot down the last message # you read on a piece of paper. Like QuiltingNinaSue said, subscribe to any topic you want to follow, and you will get a message in your email that tells you that new messages have been sent to the topic.

Well, finally I am a member of a guild..I never realized that our group IS a guild...all this time I could have been saving $$...I just have to get my card...I will be getting it next week....
One of the ladies was given an old quilt that she cut into lapsize throws for the assisted living home in our area...we sewed on the bindings and were given them to take home & finish...I will be machine sewing them with a decorative stitch...it's about time I started using my machine featured stitches......I also am learning a new crochet pattern for a throw starting with one corner on the diagonal...should be very interesting...
I don't know why I'm getting very sleepy during the day...I napped yesterday for 2.5 hours..which is so unlike me...and I could go to sleep right now...I'm going to finish the binding before I do...
Anyone have MB's to show???
