A team comes in and prices everything; then they conduct the 'sale' days for the estate. Early bird gets the worm...or best bargains in this case. Used to know a woman who worked on the team of one estate sale business venture, and she could tell a few tales about it all. Never went to one...Have fun, Dublb...and show us your 'finds'.

The people, o' all three companies, that run estate sales here in Midland, know me by name .
(Now isn't that a run on sentience?)

Wow...already over 50 posts past 5000. Gone for a day and you are all chatty. Fun to come home and catch up.

I was able to find a nice cream with a subtle gold swirl for the SYE background fabric. I also got 6 more FQs to use in my blocks...I'll take pictures of the new fabrics and hexagon part of the block finished tomorrow afternoon. I have to be at PT at 7am, so need to be getting to bed shortly since I'll need to leave here a little before 6:30....not my ideal time for an appt, but when you have to wait for a cancellation, you take what you can get! Night....

QNSue ... the grapes would be a nice mix with it! Another hot weather jelly salad that I like is orange jelly with grated carrots and pineapple.

DublB ... we'll look forward to hearing how many things you add to your collection!

CarrieM ... before you know it, we'll be at 10,000!!! ITA great you got into physio, despite the time.

Ladies ... Your Suggestions Please!
After practicing FMQing on odds and ends of fabric, I took this yardage and cut it up to make
12-1/2" blocks with the intention they would become QAYG.
Possible options:
1. All the same squares? (I only have 8 blocks ... might be able to buy more fabric)
2. Alternate with a pieced block? What block?
3. Alternate with a plain fabric block?
4. Other suggestions?
Thank You Ladies for your help!

I love that snowman and the flakes

I tried to make a lay-out of your block with extra ones in EQ but I still have to learn EQ so it will take some time.

*gasp* MiraB brain dead??? *gasp* again!
C'est Impossible!
That's OK ... I'm in no rush, so if your brain comes back alive on Saturday, it'll never be too late!
Is next week the BIG luncheon S+T?

Likewise, Anael!

And here's some real Americana for our USA friends when they finally wake up!

Did you know...
... that today is the Bittyhday of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile?

The first Oscar Meyer Wienermobile hit the road on July 18, 1936,
and is now on display in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
he nephew of Oscar Meyer invented the car.

Maybe we should have tested them?
......... instead of giving them the answer!!!!

Good morning. QE, love that fabric; how about a simple Irish Chain block between them with white background. You could use scraps of the different colors for the little squares. It would keep with the old fashioned look of the focus fabric. Or maybe I'm still half asleep. Getting ready to go on mini FART and then to work tonight. It's already 82* and HUMID.

Thanks for the info on the Weinermobile. My next door neighbor has a daschund named Oscar Meyer Weiner Dog.

Have a great day, ladies. Hope your appt goes well, Carrie.
