All the work (new wiring, drywall, taping) is done. Painter will be in next Thursday or Friday, he is busy the first of the week. Then all is done until the new cabinets arrive. They are suppose to be shipped on August 7th, and don't know how long they take to get here??? But it is so nice to see the new fresh drywall all looking so great after the mess we were looking at for the past two months! Any progress is wonderful!

MiraB ... will be looking forward to seeing more of MrMiraB's Blooming Tigers!

JeanieG ... great progress by those chaps! Yes, you will appreciate the clean and tidy look over what you have been living with. What paint colours are you going with? It'll just be a nice break, til the new cabinets arrive. Enough of a break for you to take off on one of your camping get-aways!

Honchey .. oh you weren't MIA ... we knew you were working hard and long! Now get that llllllllonnng sleep, so you can be filled with vim and vinegar tomorrow!!!

QuiltE - My kitchen is going to be painted a Behr Color called Vanilla Delight. It is a great neutral that I painted my bedroom and den a couple of years ago. Originally the kitchen was painted a peachy color, with a wallpaper border in a grape motif around the top. I want something that will not be so restrictive colorwise, so I can use different table toppers without it clashing with the paint & wallpaper! LOL I am staying with Behr color Southern Breeze for my living room. It is a medium green color and I'm kind of fond of it.

Honchey - you'll have to go back a number of pages to catch up on all our chatter! I have a photo of the two Walmart Tables, one with my sewing machine and the other set up for cutting, a couple of pages back.

Oh my, I feel for you dublb! Twenty-five years of belongings will indeed take a long time to pack. I bet you find a lot of stuff you even forgot you had!

I've been quilting on my No. 1 Pony Quilt today. I have two more rows to do, then the border. I'm really looking forward to having this one finished!

Dublb take is one cupboard at a time, that's how my DS and I packed up our old house, get home from work and we would pack for an hour then get dinner ready and eat then pack for another hour after dinner, it took us 6 weeks and boy did we throw out a lot of clutter. I like your idea of small boxes, look after those backs.

JeanieG I bet you are happy to see that paint on the walls

QuiltE my DDDDH might not survive this joint venture he wanted me to stitch out another design today but on white fabric, aaarrrggghhhh told him no he had already chosen the black fabric, I don't think he knows what he wants as he keeps changing his mind....hmm men !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mirabelle, you can alternate black and white

Dublb, good luck with all your packing! Good thought to use small boxes!

Jeanie, congrats on the progress! Hopefully your kitchen will be finished soon.

Today the twins are coming here for the very first time !! !! !! They're 6 months old now.
My hubby's funeral was on July 22nd and now the twins' first time visit on July 22nd. Not replacing memories but adding happy ones to the sad ones.

Anael I am so sad for you but at the same time happy that the twins are getting to visit you. Yes I agree it is good to add good memories in place of sad ones. I hope your day is filled with joy and love that Bram and Isa are HERE...

Give Bram, Isa and Mick a big hug from me
