I haven't recieved my July MB & I just now realized it. I've been so busy.
I picked out my fabric for my Aug. MB yesterday & was able ta wash it taday. I haven't been able ta do much taday so was glad ta do that. I've had asthma all day. I put 'em in a salad spinner w/soap. The salad spinner that I have has a draw string ta pull ta make it spin. I pull the string then press the li'le brake over & over ta wash 'em. Then I rinse 'em w/fresh water. Finally I take all the water out & spin 'em ta wring 'em out. Now they are hangin' ta dry. I do this for all my FQ's. As long as I don't walk around I don't cough.

Ok, that is another wonderful mini quilt. And I love, love, love the BLTs, only skip the lettuce part. One slice of our home grown tomato in the center of the slice of bread, add the two or three strips of bacon, top with another slice of bread and enjoy to the last bite. Then grab the second one and enjoy it also. It does not need Mayo or lettuce, pure and good.

Enjoy your winnings from Bingo, Honchey. Have a fun day with the winnings. Hope you can get on this site with windows eight; when I got mine, they told me, load windows seven only; but that's been a year, so hoping it works just fine for you.

For those that like BLTs, this is a great recipe to have during the summer months. It is one I got from my "Pampered Chef Lady" and that we made at a party I had a few years back.

BLT Ranch Salad Pizza

Ingredients:
1pkg Pillsbury Big and Flaky Crescent Rolls (10.1oz)
2-3c thinly sliced iceburg lettuce
2 plum tomatoes
1pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2c ranch salad dressing
1 garlic clove, pressed
1c shredded cheddar cheese
1/4c sliced olives (optional)
1/4c chopped red onion
6-8 slices of bacon, crisply cooked, drained and crumbled

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. Unroll crescent rolls to within 1 inch of edge of lightly floured bar pan (pressing together to make a big rectangle). Bake 15-18 min until golden brown. Remove from oven; cool completely.

2. Slice lettuce; seed/dice tomatoes. In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, ranch salad dressing, and garlic (pressed)...mix well and spread over cooled crust. Cut into squares before putting toppings on. Top pizza with remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.

Bev, I feel bad that you're not felling well...I don't have asthma..I do have allergies and my eyes swell up so they look like peaches and they leak!!!! I always wanted a salad spinner that has a drawstring and haven't been able to find one...

Take whatever time you need to get better...The MB will get done when it gets done...take care of yourself...and ...don't walk around!!!

If I had not been havin' asthma I would have been at the other house & wouldn't have been able ta wash those FQ's taday so I'm happy ta have the opportunity.

Yes I got mine at Walmart. I got the first one in Brady, but it was months till the Walmart here in Midland had one. Hmm the Walmart that is further from me might have had one, but I hardly ever go there.

Here are several Salad Spinners but only one w/a draw string. The first one has the draw string like mine but the second one looks more lik mine. Mine isn't collapsible, but it seems ta me that might be an advantage. It'd be a nice way ta store it.

Dublb, hope you get to feeling better in your new home. Carrie, that looks like a great recipe.

Honchey, you can go on line to http://www.corningware.com and order it, and have to go anywhere. I get their emails and when sales happen. I can let you know when they go on sale. or help out in any way I can.

QuiltE the quilt patterns was part of the embroider design download, I just had to search for the fabric, took me about 3 hours on the computer but I found it, it must have been popular cause most online shops were sold out.

Honchey no elves in this house just a missing husband and do I really have to behave myself

GGal I love the little hand cranked sewing machine, wonder if that would work in my car oh no I have to deal with idiots on the highway..

Oksewglad another beautiful mini, so sweet

Anael I am still thinking about the 50 stars and my thinking is leaning towards 9 inch blocks, just leaning and thinking, leaning and thinking

I have just got home from spending the morning with DD, we went clothes shopping and getting "stuff" for our retreat, had a coffee in a lovely café. But now I am off to the sewing room, lots to do...
