Another beautiful photo Anael, so precious to see the all together and look no oxygen yay

So here is a pic of my wip's, the first is my jelly roll quilt, no borders yet, maybe next week.
The second is the Raggedy Ann quilt I am working on, since taking the pic I have the blocks together and only have to make a checkerboard for the final border.

The next two pics and of my haul for this week, I ordered these fabric from fabric.com, I have a quilt in mind and needed a lot of variety and small prints so hopefully they will go with what I already have. They are one yard lengths

Check out the little peirot on the left hand side of the Raggedy Ann, I am stitching them out while I put Raggedy together, they are do cute:

Beautiful fabric, Mirabelle. Can you believe I just purchased a quilt pattern book that has the first quilt pattern in it? Might have been in a magazine...but I have that pattern now.

Now I know how a turtle feels on his backside...I slipped and fell down in the chicken yard tonight trying to get a guinea back into the poultry yard. Thought I was going to spent the night there. LoL.!! Dh went for his Rubber Maid cart to 'pick' me up and he could not hardly 'lift' me up!! Finally made it over to the fence post and got my feet under me so I could 'rise up' with help and get back on my feet. My knees are so bad, cannot rise up on my knees at all. Wonder if I should go on a diet and lose some weight or have dh develop a hoist to lift me up. The guinea found its way back into the chicken yard and into the hen house while we were struggling to get me up.

I worked in the sewin' room taday. Mostly I stacked boxes around the rooms against the walls. They were hap-hazardly placed all over the room. I did wane ta see what was in each box & stack 'em in a way that I could figure 'em out. I kinda know what is where now. Well "kinda" is the key word here. LOL At least it's not a maze in there now.
I think my dogs think that they are squirrels. They are eattin' acorns regularly now. LOL

Do all of you see what I see???? I hope you're paying those "Elves" overtime Mirabelle Nice online haul!!! that's something I don't do very often...I've only purchased at Missouri Star Quilt Co.

Beautiful photo of the Sewgrands Anael...All those blue eyes...I love blue eyes...

Jan, I'm sorry that your S16 isn't feeling well...

QNS, you have to watch your steps....No more baking for you!!!!

I'm having a difficult time deciding which block & the fabric color placement to use in my MB for this month...do I make the dynamite block with my choice of fabric color layout or just do the great block with the recipients color preferrence...I know the block will look great but I'm befuddled as to which one to do...Would any of you be offended if the color preferrence isn't in the order you wanted but it would look great & outstanding???

Dublb, my Shamus (Scottie) used to chase squirrels...he never acted like one tho
I've been puttering around the house getting rid of this & that...I can't imagine the move you've just almost completed...

Mirabelle - nice material you got - what fun to get that package in the mail! Your quilts are wonderful!

QNS - OMG - I'm glad you did not break anything! You are going to be black and blue all over! Please be careful!

Dublb - I surely don't envy you with all you have yet to do - but you know it will be wonderful when it is all done!

And my news - they are installing the cabinets tomorrow and Friday!

Please be careful QNS it is so easy to break something as we age, I'm not saying you are old, I'm just saying we are ageing and must be careful

Yay JeanieG you're almost at the finish line

Bev take your time it will get done, just pick a box and work out of it, that way you can play "sew surprise"

I have just finished the checkerboard for Raggedy and hope to start quilting it tomorrow, its not big just 52 inches square..

Mirabelle, its the truth I am not getting younger but denial of getting older!! One day at a time. Surprising, I feel better today than yesterday.

Going to have eye checks for the both of us today. My distance vision is worse; I stand at the end of the grocery isle and cannot read the sign in the middle of the isle to tell me what is there. Headlights of cars coming toward me are blurry and doubled, so its time I checked out my vision...no new classes since 1999 when the optic nerve blew out in my left eye.

Beets are ready to do. Even though I tried to give away most of the garden veggies, I will have to do beets and a batch of tomatoes, try to pick beans and work them up, and berry row needs picking. So no sewing for me today. Sigh. Bummer. Maybe I can slip some into my day.

Ooh QNS, 1999 is a long time ago, I have to get my eyes checked and new glasses every 2 years. I like to keep the optometrist in business I also have to see the eye specialist every 12 months as apparently I am in the top 5% to contract glaucoma, he only works 4 days per week, I like contributing to his retirement fund. You should notice a big difference with new glasses.

And now I will say goodnight to you all

JanRN....so sorry about the S16...and just when you had gotten up the courage to start! Hope it's something minor.
Anael....I guess IRL it might not be hard to tell the twins apart but in that picture, they look so much alike...and like their brother! A family worth fighting for!
Mirabelle...I recognize a couple of the fabrics. Are any of these the ones your DH picked out for his quilt?
Jeanie...I bet I know what you will be doing Saturday! How nice to get back to living.
Bev....sounds like the dust is settling a little with the maze disappearing. How much still needs to be done on the old house?
QNS....I will confess...your description of the poultry yard event had me in stitches. Please, I can find a good laugh another way so don't do it again! I'm glad that you weren't seriously hurt and that Rubbermaid could do the heavy lifting.
OK...I've considered planting fall crops but DH will be burying my garden in leaves in a couple of months. I'm glad your errands took you past your LQS. Always the pause that refreshes!
Quilting borders take longer than I estimated so I still have 3 to go. I think I will like them when I get them all on. Maybe today? Have a good one!
