I hope, Dublb, you slept as well as I did last night...gee, did I sleep! Without doing the numbers like in the commercial for Sleep Beds! (That's when you air up the bed for better sleeping comfort, by the number that is comfortable) Got up and had a very nice, hot shower. Now for breakfast.

Mirabelle, I wish you a happy journey and visit.., You will tell us the highlights later??

Janie, so glad you are enjoying your trip; on the the Shard...must have felt like on top of the world?

Wouldn't be nice, Honchey, to write a cookbook from our PC trail and give the proceeds to "let no child go hungry" campaign??? I have seen such children where I taught in CC one year, and it broke my heart. Some never knew where 'home' was...each night a different ditch or place...parents selling their 'girls' (nine to eleven yrs) for evening entertainment of 'gents'. Most of us have soooo much more blessings in our lives.

QNS, if you need any more zucchini recipes, our local PBS station had a special on this morning: Return of the Zucchini. I think you can go to WQED.org then go to recipes and find them. Had some really yummy sounding ones on there. I can't wait to try zucchini parmesan.

Mirabelle, I have a question. I want to make a quilt with my embroidery machine, I think it's fun. I'm wondering if I can use redwork designs for the blocks. Or do I have to have special quilt designs?

How cute is that!! Love it, Anael. I think Mirabelle is still at DD house having fun. What ever size your redwork design is , make alternate blocks the same size and it will make a lovely quilt. I have seen several on QB site...you might do a search for them on this site and try it. I can do a search on the net and tell you what shops I find that specialize in Red Work.=, if you want.

I'm still home, leaving in about an hour, thought I would check the chat first

Anael you can use redwork designs if you wish, I would just be careful what stabiliser you use, not a heavy one as the stitches might pull when you remove it. We have a product called Pellon and it is a very very light weight wadding you could use that for a stabiliser. Have fun.

I get my embroidery machine back on Tuesday, I have missed it. Need to finish the Peirrot quilt, then I have a few ideas I want to try out. Managed to get the borders on my Jelly Roll Quilt yesterday, and I only have one more block to applique and I can start putting Once Upon a Time together.

Now I have better get moving, camera is in my bag, little gifts all wrapped, car fuelled up, I am ready for a wonderful day out.

Hope a safe journey for you, Mirabelle.

My MB is not working out, so selected a different pattern to 'try' tomorrow and hope for success then. Its all printed out this evening. Hope for better results tomorrow.

Everyone must be very busy, not much chatter here on site which is unusual. Missing the chatter.

I had my surgery Thursday, got ready to come home in the PM and I started vomiting so had to spend the night and all morning until the surgeon came in to see me. Had a lumpectomy and some lymph glands taken for testing. Sure won't be doing any sewing for awhile, so I will catch up when I can. Thank you for your prayers.
