So glad to "see" you Anael ... Good news that the surgery is planned, though I am sure you are anxious about it to be over and for it to go well. Hope you are feeling a little better every day, to build up and be ready for your surgery. How is Bram doing? Do take care ... {{{{HUGS}}}} to you!

QNS, So happy to hear the good news...make sure you follow the Dr's orders!!!!!...We don't want you to do otherwise!!

Anael, praying the surgery is asap so you can be on the road to getting better...

I haven't even thought about our anniversary...I can't believe it..it's just around the corner...
DH & I are leaving for NC right after we vote this coming Tuesday...We'll be down there until the 23rd of this month...coming home in time for Thanksgiving...I will be psyching myself up for the New Year...Hopefully I can hold out until then to have the surgery.then recuperate over the winter in NC..it'll be much warmer there for rehab..Yuk, ugh,3498710329845617-92ryh...

Great to hear from you QNS and that the surgery went well, now you have to follow Doc's orders and rest that eye, don't try and do too much too soon...

Anael I am thinking of you and hope that the next few weeks go quickly for you and you can have the surgery and get back to your old self again. Hugs coming your way.

Do you remember this quilt, I made it some time ago, well I donated it to my embroidery club to raise funds for Camp Quality (Children's Cancer Organisation) There is an annual Craft Fair at the Retirement Resort where we hold our club meetings and we always have a display of quilts and sell tickets in our raffle quilt. Today 4 of us spent 3 hours selling tickets and we raised $830. Woohoo we had a lot of fun but I am so tired now, left home this morning at 6.30am and arrived home at 2.30pm

Read all your messages here without glasses, unbelievable!!!

JeanieG, what a lovely kitchen. Mirabelle, what a great MB block. JanRN, hope all is well for you...no power...hope it came back on. Honchey, like that "Bunny" advertisement you are still going......wow.

The eye guard came off last night, I went into the restroom, and suddenly had this bad feeling I knew where it was.... and fished it out before flushing! Sterilize it later. Guess that is a sign from Above saying, Go, thee is ok now. Cannot believe how 'white' this screen is....that I can see without glasses! Everyone take care.

QNS, so glad everything went well!

Anael, take care of yourself, stay healthy so your body is ready for surgery. I'm sure you're anxious to get it done.

Mirab, beautiful quilt and awesome the amount of money raised. You are so generous with your time & talent.

Anne, hope the weather in NC is warmer than NJ; that should help your knee feel a little better. Not much to do for it other than pain killers & swearing (which helps! LOL) until you have your surgery. You'll still be able to keep us PC riders in line even with a cane or walker. This has been a great year thanks to your leadership. If we add in FWS, doesn't that make it almost 3 years we've been riding together? Wow.

Thanks JanRN, for the trip down memory lane of all the good things we've done together!

Honchey ... yea for the warm climes of NC, BINGO and yes, more golf for your DH! Time will go fast enough to surgery and then the same again for the recovery. Sounds like a good plan that you have put in place.

QNSue ... glad all went well. While you may not need the shield on during the day, please be sure to put it on at night time. Also, careful if you put on a pullover ... a good time to also wear it or to cup your hand over instead. While you may think your eye is OK, it will be tender for sometime and believe me, you do not want to find that out by accidentally scrape it while sleeping or dressing. (I made the mistake of sliding a pullover on ... OUCH!! had no problems remembering after that!!!!) As the others have said ... please follow the Dr's instructions to a T so your vision can continue to improve.

MiraB ... Such a BEEautiful quilt and for such a good cause. Congratulations on your sales ... was the draw today? or how many more $$$ can you make for Camp Quality? Now go and rest thyself up!
