Anael ... Mick must have been so cute with his empty mouth! I bet your tiredness as all good, and you sleep was filled with sweet dreams of your 3-SewGrands! Now keep up your resting and settle in with a book, movie or knitting and of course, your PP ... til you drift off again for the night for more Sweet Dreams!

DublB ... ♪♪♫ You'll have to play us a tune now! ♫♪♪ I spy an antique chair and lamp that I'd love to have! Does this mean, that you are now fully moved? Has your old home closed now?

Oh lovely photos Dublb. I love that cross above that mantle, and the beautiful painting above your piano. Wow!

I'd grab it up and put it in my sewing room for a nesting chair when I do hand sewing!
The lamp would be in my living room.
I have a faux-reproduction version and would SO like the REAL thing!

HELLOOO!!! Ladies! sorry I missed so much!

NinaSue Im glad your surgery went well

good to hear from Anael and Jan Bev! what a beautiful house! it is soooooo TEXAS

I DID receive my MB from OkGladie, I havent had a moment to take a pic yet, Thursday I went to pickup my Dh who has been out of state for two weeks, and Saturday I drove to take my sister home that has been staying with me, and decided to take the Scenic Route over the mountain and wasnt down that dirt road very far when I had a tire blow! and of course no cell service... its a good thing Im handy! I changed out the tire with the spare... and wouldnt you know! the spare was FLAT. Long story short DH came to the rescue and helped me on my way. I got to my parents house so late I stayed the night and drove home this morning..... in a BLIZZARD! and all I could think was "Good thing I got a flat yesterday and not today"

Have a good one ladies!

I WILL take a pick of my pretty MB

Bev what a beautiful inviting room, I just want to sit and listen to someone playing that beautiful piano. You must be almost finished the unpacking and setting up your new home. Time to get that sewing room organised

Oh dear DDamsel what an exiciting trip you had, sometimes back roads are not the route we should take. Lucky DH came along to assist. I can't imagine driving in a blizzard, I just have to drive in torrential rain, although I do avoid it if I can.

QNS as always great words of advice, we also use the "reaallllly" a lot around here. The office staff at the mine have introduced a "swear jar" so DH came up with a novel approach. He is learning how to swear in sign language. He and his boss are becoming quite good at it and nobody is the wiser. I have such a sneaky husband

The chair is not comfy. Ya don't want ta sit in it very long. It was Dh's DGM's as was the clock, & both antique lamps. The 2 matchin' lamps were bought at an estate sale 2 years ago. The sm marble top table, that is next ta the chair, was DMIL's. The 2 trinkets on it were 25 anniversary gifts, as were the cross above the mantle & the silver casserole dish that is in the middle o' the Piano. The brass lamp on the marble top table was a gift from DMIL. The paintin' above the piano is bluebonnets & my DDIL painted it for me. I bought the frame on Fri mornin' 'cause the one I had it in didn't go w/the piano. The other paintin' was a weddin' present for my DM & DDad. She gave it ta me around 25 years ago ta go in the old house. DH & I paid $65 a month foreeeeeeeever for the piano. I'm kinda sentimental about my stuff.
We do have a contract on the old house but it is still in the probation part o' the contract. They have 10 days ta back out w/o losin' their deposit. Those days will be up Tues I think. Then it all depends on how long it takes the abstract company ta git the paperwork all filled out.
